Delegate Expense Fund
[The following summary was
authored by Bill Faust, former PA state coordinator for Ron Paul 2008.]
A contingent of 19 Ron Paul
supporters won delegate and alternate races in Pennsylvania's April GOP
primary. A handful of them need assistance to cover their convention
expenses. Please click on the orange DONATE button to generously contribute
funds for this purpose so that Ron's message of freedom, peace and
prosperity will have a voice at the convention.
What will the funds be used for?
Travel, hotel, meals and a convention registration fee.
How will the funds be handled?
At the direction of Bill Faust,
Central Pennsylvania Liberty PAC (CPALPAC) will pay funds to the delegates
and alternates who require assistance. One of Ron Paul's highest vote
percentages was obtained in Central Pa where CPALPAC is active.
Didn't Ron stop running for President?
Yes, with the primaries complete, he felt there would be insufficient
delegates to place his name in nomination. Many disagree and forecast that
GOP delegates will revolt knowing that Obama would crush McCain. In fact, an
Alaska-led group is presently stirring that pot by sending DVD's and copies
of Ron's book The Revolution A Manifesto to delegates nationwide.
Would Ron accept the nomination if it were offered to him?
Ron has stated that he would do so.
What if Ron isn't nominated?
The convention is a premiere forum to educate active Republicans who have
been brainwashed by the destructive neo-conservative movement. Party
platforms, essentially political statements of position, are important. For
example, Idaho's Ron Paul supporters won a resounding victory at their state
convention with a platform that included abolishing the Federal Reserve and
the income tax.
What is Ron doing right now?
Ron created the Campaign for Liberty to help the continuing freedom movement
elect candidates and educate the public. You can watch his announcement on
YouTube. Please join the
Campaign for Liberty to be part of this
movement.
Is Ron having his own convention?
Yes! To give counterbalance to the GOP convention and to help blueprint the
continuing freedom movement's future, supporters nationwide will gather at
the 15,000 seat capacity Williams Arena in Minneapolis for an all-day event
with Ron Paul on September 2nd.
Watch Neil Cavuto interview Ron on this event.
Your donation will help the PA delegates and alternates attend both
conventions. The media are quite interested in this event. |
